REPENTANCE

Matthew 4:17  From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

[God's definition of Repentance: Proverbs 28:13  He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth AND forsaketh them shall have mercy.

God's definition of Sin: IJohn 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for SIN IS the transgression of the law.]

Ecclesiasticus 17:24 But unto them that repent, he granted them return, and comforted those that failed in patience.

:25 Return unto the Lord, and forsake thy sins, make thy prayer before his face, AND OFFEND less.

[Repentance: forsake breaking the commandments; pray for forgiveness to the LORD through Christ: John 14:13; put off your sins more and more, GROW in doing the word/law!]

:26 Turn again to the most High, and TURN AWAY from iniquity: for he will lead thee out of darkness into the light of health, and HATE THOU abomination vehemently.

Mark 1:15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

 We Have to Truly Repent, and TRULY worship the Heavenly Father through Jesus Christ by being born again and renewing our minds, according to the Bible. NOT according to ANY religion, Israelite group nor man (priests, high priests, reverends, 'Ordained Ministers', leaders, etc., etc., etc.): 

John 4:21  Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father. 

:22 Ye worship ye KNOW NOT what: we know what we worship: for salvation IS OF the Jews.

:23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father SEEKETH SUCH to worship him.

:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. (Christ was letting the true Israelites know that we will be removed from the land of Israel and will no longer be worshipping the Heavenly Father in the land of Israel)

Isaiah 10:20 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the remnant of Israel, and such as are escaped of the house of Jacob, shall no more again stay upon him that smote them; but shall stay upon the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, IN TRUTH.

:21 The remnant shall return, even the remnant of Jacob, unto the mighty God.

:22 For though thy people Israel be as the sand of the sea, yet a remnant of them shall return: the consumption decreed shall overflow with righteousness.

To truly repent, WE MUST keep the old testament commandments and have faith in Christ.  True repentance does NOT occur by joining Israelite groups or religions and churches (places of worship).  BUT ONLY maintains idolatry, by the following of commandments OF MEN: Jeremiah 17:5, Romans 3:4, etc., instead of repenting by DOING the word/law of the LORD exactly as He instructs us:

Mark 7:21 For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,

:22 Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:

:23 All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.

Galatians 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,

:21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Matthew 19:16 And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?

:17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS.

:18 He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,

:19 Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

Mark 10:17 And when he was gone forth into the way, there came one running, and kneeled to him, and asked him, Good Master, what SHALL I DO that I may inherit eternal life?

:18 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God.

:19 THOU KNOWEST THE COMMANDMENTS, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and mother.

Christ: Psalms 110:4, Zechariah 6:2-13, Malachi 3:1-3, etc, DOES NOT signify that ALL the laws or Old Testament is now done away with.  To be clear, in 2015 Christ IS OUR ONLY PRIEST, we are NOT to have men as priest;  even us true Israelites ARE NOT priest nor a kingdom of priest as yet.  Even with a hebrew name as priest such as "ka-han" or the title Rabbi (which belongs to Christ, NOT ANY man in 2015: Matthew 23:8!)  

Laws no longer applicable, because Christ is our Priest, include us no longer giving any men or 'priests' tithes/10% (which was never money in the first place: Leviticus 27:30-32, Matthew 23:23, Proverbs 3:9, etc) and animal sacrifices: Isaiah 16:1, Psalms 34:20, John 1:29, Hebrews 10:10-21, etc., or the previously commanded amount of wine, and amount of oil and flour commanded with our meat offerings such as a lamb or a bull required on holy days, sabbaths or the new moons:

 

Colossians 2:16 Let no man therefore judge you IN MEAT, or IN DRINK, or in respect of AN HOLYDAY, or of THE NEW MOON, or of THE SABBATH DAYS:

(Stop following men, christianity or leaning upon your own interpretations WITHOUT GOING precept upon precept.  Meat, drink, new moons, holy days and sabbath ONLY GO TOGETHER in the bible in relation to sacrifices and commanded meat and drink offerings of feast days in Numbers 28:9-14.  Paul observed and taught the keeping of sabbaths and Holy Days: ICorinthians 11:24-31, ICorinthians 5:7-8, etc.):

 

Numbers 28:9 And ON THE SABBATH DAY two lambs of the first year without spot, and two tenth deals of flour FOR A MEAT OFFERING, mingled with oil, and THE DRINK OFFERING thereof:

:10 This is the burnt offering OF EVERY SABBATH, beside the continual burnt offering, and his drink offering.

:11 And IN THE BEGINNINGS OF YOUR MONTHS ye shall offer a burnt offering unto the LORD; two young bullocks, and one ram, seven lambs of the first year without spot;

:12 And three tenth deals of flour FOR A MEAT OFFERING, mingled with oil, FOR ONE BULLOCK and two tenth deals of flour FOR A MEAT OFFERING, mingled with oil, FOR ONE RAM;

:13 And a several tenth deal of flour mingled with oil FOR A MEAT OFFERING unto ONE LAMB; for a burnt offering of a sweet savour, a sacrifice made by fire unto the LORD.

:14 And THEIR DRINK OFFERINGS shall be HALF AN HIN OF WINE unto A BULLOCK, and the THIRD PART OF AN HIN unto A RAM, and a FOURTH PART OF AN HIN unto A LAMB: this is the burnt offering of EVERY MONTH throughout the months of the year.

(THEREFORE, precept upon precept, Colossians 2:16 links to precept Numbers 28:9-14, and illustrates very clearly that meat, drink, new moons, holyday or sabbath days were specific measurements of meat offerings (flour and oil) and drink offerings (wine) during commanded animal sacrifices on all sabbaths and holydays. And IS NOT referring to breaking the commandments or that we can EAT PORK or unclean meats and now sinfully disregard and break sabbath days or holydays;  nor can we through Christ, BREAK the sabbath laws which were observed by all true servants in the New Testament: Luke 23:54-56, Acts 2:1-10, Acts 17:1-3, Matthew 5:17-19, Matthew 26:17-28, ICorinthians 11:23-31, ICorinthians 5:7-8, Revelation 14:12, James 2:14-26, Revelation 12:17, etc.
